THE STORY OF
LAS - ART STUDIO

My artistic journey began as a passion in high school, leading me to study Fine Art and Art History at the University of Guelph. Years later, I rediscovered that joy when a friend asked to create two paintings for her living room. One thing led to another and I started creating custom paintings through word of mouth. I continued to paint part time while I managed a full time career in corporate medicine. I loved both my jobs, but art always had a special place in my mind and heart every single day.

At the end of 2024, I took a leap of faith and left the corporate world to focus on my art full time. My path took an unexpected turn in early 2025 with a life-changing diagnosis of Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). Through the challenges, including recovery from surgery and learning to walk again, I found strength in offering guided painting sessions. Creating this creative community allowed me to embrace my art and inspire others while navigating my healing journey. I continue to offer commissions, original art, and art events and new in fall of 2026 I will be announcing my online painting community!
